DEPRESSION- SUICIDE

This motivation for today's writing comes from the person who "tried" to commit SUICIDE yesterday by throwing their body in front of a moving train, only to survive and get stuck under the train for countless hours. Which then in turn disrupted hundreds of people commute home that depends on the metro rail system. My 35 minute commute ending up being a 3.5 hrs....not to mention that I walked for about an hour while begging my legs pls don't fail me now...LOL

Yes most of us go thru depression every once in awhile it is NORMAL. Depression can stem from many things:: loss of a loved one's life, self esteem issues, everyday struggles that we all face, roller coaster ride that I call relationship. So we go thru feelings of loneliness & sadness, there is a saying "GOD NEVER GIVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN MANAGE" I've been there where I have sat a questioned GOD as to what have I done to deserve this and then turn around and make promises to never to do & so again.

There are different signs for Depression, and if one knows they have these feelings lasting for periods at a time they should definately go see a medical specialist. Even though I have been witness to someone suffering but they mask it so well, and to me that has only lead to deeper issues within.

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, symptoms of depression may include the following:
  • difficulty concentrating, remembering details, and making decisions
  • fatigue and decreased energy
  • feelings of guilt, worthlessness, and/or helplessness
  • feelings of hopelessness and/or pessimism
  • insomnia, early-morning wakefulness, or excessive sleeping
  • irritability, restlessness
  • loss of interest in activities or hobbies once pleasurable, including sex
  • overeating or appetite loss
  • persistent aches or pains, headaches, cramps, or digestive problems that do not ease even with treatment
  • persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" feelings
  • thoughts of suicide, suicide attempts

BEYONCE BEING SUED FOR STEALING DANCE MOVES

In my opinion dance moves are always copied/duplicated...there is a saying imitation is the best form of flattery. I am far from a Beyonce fan but I do respect her as a YOUNG successful woman...except for her HPUSE of DEREON line that has really flopped LOL.....so you be the judge

It is not the first time that Beyonce has been accused of borrowing dance moves, according to The Times. Two years ago she admitted that moves in the video for "Single Ladies"

Belgian dancer-choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, one of the biggest names in modern dance, believes the pregnant American star has clearly plagiarized her work.
"I didn't know anything about this. I'm not mad, but this is plagiarism. This is stealing," Keersmaeker told a Danish blog, according to The (London) Times.
"What's rude about it is that they don't even bother about hiding it. They seem to think they could do it because it's a famous work ... Am I honored? Look, I've seen local school kids doing this. That's a lot more beautiful."

ORAL SEX LINKED TO CANCER

Increase in oral cancers linked to HPV

The human papillomavirus is contributing to the growing number of  head and neck cancers in the United States, according to a new study Monday in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
The study found that the number of cases of oropharyngeal cancer - cancers of the tonsil, back of the mouth (throat) and base of the tongue - has been on the rise since the mid-1980s.  The study suggests that one reason could an increase in the number of people having oral sex resulting in oral human papillomavirus  exposure.
Researchers say these cancers fall into two categories–those caused by tobacco and alcohol and those caused by the sexually transmitted virus, HPV. They now believe approximately 70% of all oropharyngeal cancers are caused by HPV infection.

CERASSE TEA

Got a phone call early this morning and I hear my friend sipping on something and I asked what u drinking and he replied some CERASSE I instantly replied YUCK in my show of dismay. I remember when my uncle and them used to make us drink that along with some other bush teas but that was just that worst. With them being rasta everything NATURAL was good for us. Not a sip I would take I think I did mine in huge gulps along with holding my breath to hurry up and finish LOL. I'm sitting here wondering why I didn't do the same things to my kids but its still not to late *insert evil grin*

In the above picture you can see the seeds, if I'm not mistaking if taking by a pregnant woman can cause miscarriages/abortion

There are many other health attributions to this bush tea. For instance when I took my kids to Jamaica one yr the mosquitoes were not kind at all to one of my twins she had severe reactions to their bites which turned out into massive sores and I remember them putting here in a pan and giving her a bath with the vines/leaves to heal them. My husband at the time daughter had eczema and they gave her a bath with it also.
My father drank it for his high blood pressure and diabetes. To my knowledge it's good for constipation and also to clean you out after having baby by helping the body to promote discharge.
